Public engagement

The PCC is keen to engage with local people and partners on a regular basis.

His varied engagement programme ensures the public and partners can have their say on how their streets and communities are policed. This includes:

• Residents' Q&A events at external venues
• Public street stalls in high-footfall areas
• Visits to charities and community organisations
• Visits to places of worship around Kent
• 'Walkabouts' with local Police and local councillors to understand local issues impacting on communities, including businesses
• Social media updates on his work 
• Private correspondence

This approach allows people to express their views in a way which is most convenient for them.
