01st October 2026

Police and Crime Commissioner Matthew Scott has announced the autumn/winter 2026 Police Property Fund application window is now officially open.
Micro or small registered charities, social enterprises, constituted groups and Community Interest Companies (CICs) with an income of £100,000 or less are welcome to apply.
Eligible groups must focus on children and young people impacted by crime, anti-social behaviour, vulnerability, or victimisation.
The money has been generated from items seized by Kent Police, which are then auctioned off.
Matthew Scott said:
“More than £88,000 was awarded to various projects targeting different areas during last autumn’s funding round. Cutting crime, supporting victims and building trust is integral to everything we do.
“It’s important this money is given back to the community and that tackling crime not only keeps Kent safer but also helps other in-need organisations continue with their vital work.
“I have been fortunate in visiting and seeing first-hand some of the valuable work these organisations do with the public. I sincerely hope this next round of funding will support more people in achieving new and greater things in the community.”
Matthew Scott relaunched the Police Property Fund in autumn 2025 with the second round going live and concluding in spring of this year. This autumn’s latest drive marks the third round. There have been 116 awards made so far, totalling £223,555.80 since the fund opened.
