"I was deeply saddened to learn of the tragic death of PC Bradley Corke, 27, who died yesterday having been critically injured in the line of duty on Thursday 19th March 2026.
I wish to convey my sincerest condolences to Bradley’s family, friends and colleagues. My thoughts and prayers are with them all at this most tragic of times.
His colleague remains critically ill in hospital, and I will continue to keep him in my thoughts and prayers too.
Bradley gave his life trying to save the lives of members of the public who were in danger. We must never forget his bravery and dedication. He was a deeply dedicated and respected Officer, and I know that his loss will be felt across the whole Force and policing family."
