MATTHEW SCOTT WANTS TO KNOW WHICH TYPE OF ANTISOCIAL BEHAVIOUR AFFECTS YOU
Kent’s Police and Crime Commissioner Matthew Scott is working with Kent Police to crack down on antisocial behaviour.
25 areas have been classified as “hotspots” and will see additional police patrols. The zones, some of which are large and some smaller, are all over Kent and Medway. Residents within them will be receiving a FreePost survey to complete, which will inform the PCC about the types of crime experienced and whether it’s been reported. It will also ask whether police have been visible on the streets.
You can also fill the form in online, quoting your area’s reference code (printed on the front of the survey).

Mr Scott said,
“This is important work. Asking people to tell us about their experience of antisocial behaviour is the best way to find out what is happening, whether it’s being reported and most importantly whether anything is being done about it.
I have promised to tackle this sort of crime and Kent Police is working hard to target the areas which appear to be the worst affected. But we won’t know if we’re doing to right thing without your help, so please do fill in this survey. We will release the results later in the year.”
Specific details of the areas are not being revealed at this time.
The whole of Kent and Medway will be given their chance to have their say about antisocial behaviour in the autumn.
