Tim Smith officially takes over as Chief Constable of Kent Police.
Kent’s Police and Crime Commissioner Matthew Scott has signed the contract which officially promotes Temporary Chief Constable Tim Smith to be the Chief Constable of Kent Police.
Following a rigorous selection process, Mr. Smith was the PCC’s preferred candidate for the role and his selection was approved by the Kent and Medway Police and Crime Panel earlier this month.
