The Business Crime Advisory Group assists Kent Police in reducing ‘Business Crime’. Members are encouraged to share relevant information and help co-ordinate and deliver crime and antisocial behaviour prevention initiatives.
Its remit is to identify the risk of crime and antisocial behaviour to businesses, including retail and entertainment environments (within both the day and night economy) and to recognise opportunities to reduce crime and antisocial behaviour, thereby allowing businesses to operate within safer environments.
It aims to enhance partnership and collaborative working between the Police and the business community, helping Kent Police drive forward business crime reduction measures.
It also aims to promote effective good practice in working with the Police and other local partnerships; improve local engagement and encourage the business sector to include Crime Prevention as a key priority as part of its ‘commercial imperative’ objectives.
This is where we will publish details of our conference and any notifications of interest.
The National Business Crime Centre is a useful resource for police and businesses to learn, share and support each other to prevent and combat crime. Please click on this link to find out more: National Business Crime Centre.
