The Police & Crime Commissioner (PCC) has responsibility for ensuring that effective support services are available to those who have suffered rape, sexual violence or abuse. These services must support both children, young people and adults regardless of when the crime took place or if it has been reported to the Police. These services include ISVA, Child Independent Sexual Violence Adviser (CISVA) and therapeutic support such as counselling.
The PCC is wishing to seek views from key partner agencies and staff to support our understanding of service delivery currently and to seek views on what you feel those services should offer to support victims / survivors.
Information being provided will be treated confidentially and is being requested to support the development of support services. If risk of harm to an individual completing this or to another is identified as a result of information provided, a safeguarding concern will need to be reported.
